Border Governance
As part of our core responsibilities, our organization is committed to enlightenment on effective border governance, which involves sensitizing on compliant activities at national borders to ensure security and the smooth facilitation of legitimate cross-border activities.
Our work includes collaborating with governmental bodies, local communities, and international partners to implement policies that protect and facilitate the rights of migrants, prevent illegal trafficking, enhance border security and promote regional integration.
We conduct regular monitoring and assessments to ensure that border management practices are understood and adhered to by community citizens.
Additionally, our initiatives often involve community sensitization efforts to educate border communities about their rights and responsibilities, promoting peaceful coexistence and cooperation. We also engage in advocacy to influence policy changes that lead to more effective and fair border governance practices.
Through these activities, we strive to contribute to the development of border areas, ensuring they are safe, secure, and conducive to positive relations between neighboring states and their citizens.”

Our organization is dedicated to community peacebuilding, a key area of our mission to foster harmony and resolve conflicts within and between communities. We implement a variety of strategies designed to address the root causes of conflict, promote reconciliation, and build capacities for peaceful resolution.
Key activities include facilitating dialogue sessions that bring together conflicting parties to discuss grievances and find mutually acceptable solutions. We also offer workshops and training on conflict resolution techniques, empowering community leaders and members with the skills needed to manage disputes non-violently.
Moreover, we engage in advocacy to influence policies that support social justice and equitable resource distribution, which are essential for long-term peace.
